Subway Sandwiches

Wow, was Jared right?

I've started eating Subway Sandwiches instead of my normal McFare. Instead of a hamburger and fries, I'm chowing down on a turkey sub with lots of vegetables.
They have lettuce, tomato, black olives, pickles, peppers (green, banana and jalapeno), spinach and cucumber! To check this against the volumetrics diet system, if you divide the number of calories in a sandwich (280 for the six inch turkey breast) by the weight in grams (225 for that sandwich), and get a number close to or less than two, I'm doing great--- and I am, with 280/225 being about 1.25! (of course that doesn't include cheese or dressing).

I don't need the cheese or mayo for a delicious sandwich; I'm getting the deli mustard (lower in fats) and having them put it on one of their seven grain bread options. If I get iced tea or water instead of my soda, I'm practically eating healthy! Of course, sometimes I get the cheese. They'll toast it too, making it a turkey melt sort of tasty meal.
